The recording of "Italian Oboe Concertos" with English Chamber Orchestra was an international breakthrough for Hoff as a recording artist. The CD was highly acclaimed in prestigious publications like Gramophone, CD Review, Fanfare and American Record Guide and the sales were extremely high for a classical recording in Norway. This success had its follow up with another CD with baroque concertos, again with English Chamber Orchestra.
